Welcome! In front of me I have Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and I'm gonna show you
0:04
how to enable and how to disable the power saving mode on this watch
0:13
First thing we need to do is to wake up the screen on our watch and you can do
0:17
it by pressing the power button. Once you wake up the screen you should see the
0:21
current watch face, the home screen and you can swipe down on the screen to open
0:26
the quick panel. After you open the quick panel you can swipe left or right on the
0:31
screen to scroll through the pages. Like this. Now find the power saving icon
0:37
Looks like this, like the battery icon. And to enable the power saving mode you
0:42
can tap on this icon. It will say power saving. The icon will get highlighted. It
0:47
will change color to blue or other color. You will see the power saving mode icon
0:51
right here on the top and if you go to the watch face you will see the power
0:55
saving icon right at the top of the watch face, which indicates of course that the mode is enabled. To disable the mode simply open the quick panel and
1:06
scroll through the pages. Tap on the power saving mode icon and the icon will
1:12
go back to the grey color. It will disappear from here and from the watch
1:16
face, which indicates that the power saving mode is disabled. You can also
1:21
enable and disable the power saving mode through these settings. So we can swipe
1:25
up on the screen to open the menu. Scroll down, find the settings icon and tap on
1:30
it. In settings find the option called battery and device care and tap on it
1:36
Then tap on the battery option and here we have the power saving option and we
1:44
can turn it on by tapping on the switch to flick it on and turn it off by
1:48
tapping on the switch to flick it off. And here you have the list of things
1:51
that power saving mode does. It turns off the wake up gesture, it turns off
1:55
always on display, turns off the Wi-Fi, limits the CPU speed and decreases the
2:00
brightness and limits the background network usage, limits the background location, limits the background syncing and reduces the screen timeout to set 10
2:10
seconds. That's about it. Another thing you can do is to turn on the watch only
2:16
mode. At the bottom of the battery page we have the watch only mode and if you
2:22
enable this mode it will basically boot into a different mode of the watch where
2:26
you have the access to time and date. And that's about it. So if you tap on it, it
2:35
estimates the battery as you can see. It might take a while or maybe never
2:42
because I didn't use this watch for a long period of time but I'm gonna
2:47
skip this. We're gonna scroll down and tap on turn on. And once you turn on the
2:51
watch only time or rather watch only mode, my bad, it will look like this. You
2:58
have access only to hour. It will save a lot of battery in this process because
3:02
it basically turns off a lot of features but as you can see it only shows you the
3:09
time when you wake up the screen. And to exit this mode you need to press and
3:15
hold one of the buttons. I believe it's the power button or maybe the, yeah, the
3:22
power button. The watch will reboot basically and then it will enter the
3:26
normal mode so we need to wait until it's done rebooting. As you can see
3:34
we're back in the normal mode and that's how you disable the, or rather enable and
3:39
disable the power saving mode on this watch. Thank you for watching. If you
