Welcome! In front of me is an Honor Pod X9 and today I will show you how you can
0:05
enable your power saving mode on this device. So to get started you want to pull down your toggles which you do by swiping
0:15
down from the top right side of your screen like so and then below here
0:21
you'll find a bunch of toggles. Now if you swipe down on them it will actually extend the list of them and we can swipe and see if there is a power saving mode
0:28
in here. Now by the looks of it I don't actually see it at the first glance so
0:32
it looks like we might need to add it and we do so by clicking right here on
0:36
this box and then edit switches and it should be somewhere below here
0:47
Unless I am blind. By the looks of it I either I am or it's not here. Okay so I'm gonna
0:56
assume that I'm not and there is no toggle so let's open up settings
1:00
Unfortunately there is no quick toggle by the looks of it so we will need to
1:04
navigate into the settings and then battery and here we should have a, there
1:08
we go, a power saving mode and performance mode. Now obviously this is
1:13
the one that we're interested in, the power saving mode. So you just toggle it
1:17
on like so. It turns on dark mode and does most likely couple additional
1:22
things in the background which, there we go, dark mode will be enabled, auto sync
1:27
and some other features will be turned off, background app activity will be
1:30
restricted and visual effects will be reduced. Now out of this list of things
1:36
that will be changed the most important one will be the auto sync which if I'm
1:40
correct refers to your Wi-Fi and mobile data. So when you're not using your
1:46
device this will be turned off, meaning your Wi-Fi and mobile data and obviously
1:49
will result in you not receiving any kind of notifications from applications
1:54
that would require any kind of network connectivity. Now there is a chance that
1:58
this device will reconnect every like 10-20 minutes whatever it is set to, to
2:02
see if it's missing some kind of you know notifications and then sync them up
2:06
if it is. But if you experience this kind of thing maybe just not doing it at all
2:11
it will sync it up most certainly when you wake up the device. Obviously if it
2:16
bothers you there is no real work around it outside of not using power saving
2:22
mode. So there we go and once you're done with power saving mode and you want to
2:26
turn it off you will have to do it from here as well as there is no toggle for
2:30
it by the looks of it. So with that being said hopefully you found this very
2:34
helpful and if you did don't forget to smash like, subscribe and thanks for watching
