Welcome, I'm from the Lenovo Tab M10 and today I'll show you how to enable and set up the
0:12
portable hotspot. And to get started, let's pull down the notification panel, tap on that pencil, which I just misclicked
0:20
the pencil, and you want to add the hotspot by grabbing it and dragging it over here
0:28
Click on done. And from here, you want to hold the option
0:32
This will take us to the settings. From here, you want to go to learn hotspot and change things like your password, which
0:40
will be just randomly generated password. You can completely remove this one and set your own new password, which needs to be eight
0:47
characters in length. From here, tap on OK. Then you have at the top hotspot name, so you can change that if you want to
0:55
If you don't want to bother, you can keep it as it is. This is just going to be the name of the WiFi visible in the list
1:02
And the next important thing would be the AP band. And on here, we can luckily choose both of them, so that's what I would suggest you to do
1:10
So if you have a device that actually supports 5 GHz WiFi band, then it will be able to connect
1:16
it and in general, the 5 GHz is going to be better, faster
1:20
So that's why I suggest you to use it. And I will mention that the 5 GHz WiFi band is something completely separate from the
1:28
5 G that you have in mobile devices right now with the cellular data and just connection
1:38
So this is strictly for WiFi and separate. There you can tap on apply
1:44
Below that, you have the maximum connected users, so just a limit of how many people
1:48
can connect to your hotspot. And this nifty option right here, so turn off hotspot automatically when no one is connected
1:56
to it. So once you have selected all that, you can simply leave it, pull down the notification
2:02
and tap on it to enable it. As you can see, it turns on
2:06
It will give you an info how many people are connected and how many are blocked
2:11
And once no one is connected, it's either going to turn off by itself or you can simply
2:16
tap on it again to turn it off. So if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
