Welcome! In front of me I have Garmin VivoMove style and I'm gonna show you how to enable the
0:06
phone notifications for this watch on the iPhone. Basically if you want to receive the notifications
0:11
from your iPhone on your watch. Before we start if you want to receive the notifications from
0:20
your iPhone on your watch your watch needs to be paired with your iPhone via the Garmin Connect
0:24
application. Once the devices are paired together we can continue and now we can open the settings
0:31
on our iPhone because we need to make sure that the required permissions are allowed for your
0:36
iPhone and your Garmin Connect application to send the notifications to your watch
0:42
So let's open the settings on our iPhone. In settings find the Bluetooth option and once you find it tap on it and here you should see
0:53
list of my devices and on it you should see VivoMove style. Tap on the info icon next to it and
1:00
on this page you should see option called share system notifications and this option needs to be
1:04
enabled. If you don't see this option you can close the settings for now, open the Garmin Connect
1:11
application. In the app you can tap on the watch icon at the top to open the device page for your
1:20
VivoMove style. Then tap on alerts, smart notifications, enable the notifications for one of the
1:31
types and once you enable the notifications go back to the device page. It will say that device
1:37
the settings will be applied. Wait couple of seconds you may see pop-up about the permissions
1:43
about the notifications or pop-out about the permission for the notifications my bad
1:49
and once you see the pop-up tap on the allow to allow the permission and once you allow the
1:53
permission you can go back to the settings, Bluetooth, oh my bad, Bluetooth. Tap on info icon and you
2:03
should see this option here. Tap on the switch to enable it and once you enable the option go back
2:08
to the main page of settings, scroll down and find the Garmin Connect application on the list
2:15
right here. Tap on it and make sure that the Bluetooth option is enabled. Once it is
2:20
you can close the settings and now you can open the Garmin Connect
2:30
In the app you can tap on more Garmin devices and select your VivoMove style. On this page
2:38
of course find the alerts and the smart notifications and here we have general use
2:45
and during activity. Basically general use is when you're using your watch normally when you're not
2:50
recording or tracking the workout or activity and during activity is when you're tracking an
2:57
activity like running, cycling and stuff like that. So first up on the general use turn on or off the
3:03
notifications and if you turn them on you can select which type of notification should be
3:08
displayed and you have all calls and texts only and calls only. Select the option you like and go back
3:14
tap on during activity and customize it to your liking and once you're done go back to the device
3:21
page. Okay and once you go to the device page you will see the message that the settings were saved
3:29
You can also tap on this icon right here to sync the devices together
3:38
For some reason it's not syncing. Let's try again or maybe reopen the app maybe that will force sync them
3:49
Okay now it's syncing and once it's done syncing the settings should be applied so we should be able to receive the notifications on our watch. So I'm gonna send myself a message on discord
4:10
As you can see we got it on our iPhone. And also on our watch and that's how you enable the phone notifications for this watch on the
4:18
iPhone. Thank you for watching. If you found this video helpful please consider subscribing
