Hi everyone! In front of me I've got a OnePlus Ace 2 V and let me share with
0:04
you how to enable the Google backup on this device. So first of all we have to
0:14
enter the settings and then scroll down to the very very bottom to find
0:18
additional settings. Now let's scroll down and enter a backup and reset as you
0:24
can see it will be at the very very bottom of the list and then tap on
0:28
Google account which is in this Google backup section. Let's tap on it and tap
0:32
on add account. Of course if you've got your account currently added to the device
0:37
your device will allow you to simply pick it and attach kind of the
0:43
backup option to it but if not you will have to add it so simply tap on add
0:47
account as I said. Make sure that you've got the internet connection and then in
0:52
this step we can either create a new account if you do not have your own yet or here we can enter our email or phone number. And just a quick disclaimer you
1:05
do not have to enter the full email address just the very first part of it before the add symbol and after tapping on next your device will autofill it
1:13
So here we have to enter the password and let me do this out of the screen
1:19
Alright let's tap on next. Here we've got a Google terms of service and
1:29
privacy policy so of course if you want you can read it just tap on it and here you've got the info. Let's tap on I agree after reading. Here we've got the
1:40
shortcut of backup and storage info so you can learn that you've got 15
1:44
gigabytes of the account to backup apps and apps data, call history, contact device settings and text messages. Of course you can tap on more details to
1:51
learn more. Your device will backup the data automatically of course store it
1:55
securely and you can manage it whenever you want to. So just tap on turn on and
1:59
here we've got another backup section so you can check how much
2:03
space you've got left. You can manage the storage so for example remove some
2:07
unnecessary files or duplicated photos. Here you've got the backup details so
2:12
you can basically check what has already been backed up and here advanced
2:18
settings and I highly recommend to keep this option turned off so you can be sure that you will not be charged for for example accessing the internet
2:26
Alright so all you have to do to finish everything is to tap on backup now and
2:31
as you can see your device is backing up the data so basically this is it. Thank
2:36
