Welcome, in front of me is an LG Q60 and today I'll show you how to enable and
0:11
also set up the do not disturb mode. So to get started the simplest way is to
0:16
pull down the notification panel and find the toggle somewhere in here so for
0:20
me it's on the second page right here so you can either tap on it to enable it by
0:25
default so when you tap on it it will enable with whatever settings are set by
0:31
default by the device or manufacturer or you can also hold it and it will take you
0:35
to the settings where you can customize it. So starting off we have the mode
0:40
priority only it's by default and you have also total silence as the
0:44
other option. Now I advise on keeping it on priority only because this is the one
0:49
that it actually has the most choice so you can customize it to however you like
0:53
it so for instance we can go into select priority and then have apps and
0:59
notifications so you can choose which apps give you notifications in the do not
1:05
disturb mode, then have calls from and this gives you option who can call you
1:10
when the do not disturb mode is enabled so you have option from no one, everyone
1:13
contacts or favorites so choose whichever one suits your need the most
1:18
I'm just gonna stick with favorites only. Then you have repeat colors the
1:23
option that basically even though you have selected for instance favorites if someone from your contacts list as an example calls you once they will be
1:33
blocked but if they call the second time if this is enabled within the 15 minute
1:38
period the second time you will actually get their call so you will see that
1:41
they're calling and you will be able to pick it up while the first time you basically won't see anything. And then you have also the option for messages
1:50
the same one so no one, everyone, contacts or favorites so again whichever one you
1:57
choose you'll either be getting notifications and see them or you just
2:02
won't. Now we can go back and then you have the probably more important one
2:07
which is the schedule which you allows you to basically set a schedule so you
2:12
don't have to interact with it every single day or however often you want to
2:16
turn it on it will just enable itself automatically every day you have
2:22
set it to do so. So you can either modify the sleep one or you can add your own so
2:29
I'm just gonna add my own. Let's go with weekly and the first thing you have is a
2:34
choice what days of the week you want it to be enabled in and so I'm gonna go with a work do not disturb mode so Monday to Friday 9 to 5 and like normal
2:43
work so from let's go to 9 to 5 there we go okay so it's Monday to Friday 9 to 5
2:56
mode priority only that's what I would keep it on and if alarm rings I would
3:03
keep that off you might sometimes you can set up an alarm to basically override
3:08
the do not disturb mode and turn it off but it's just completely optional and
3:17
once it's set which looks like it is right now tap on save and automatically
3:22
becomes enabled right here and now you don't have to interact with do not
3:26
disturb mode at all it will just automatically be turning on and off every single day Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 and yeah so that is how you
3:34
also set it up so if you found this video helpful don't forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching
