Welcome and follow me as a AppPoA95 and today I'll show you how you can copy your contacts
0:06
or import them from your SIM card to the device. To get started you will need to open up the standalone contacts application, exactly like
0:18
this one. And once you do so, if you have your Google account signed in, it will most likely be
0:23
showing you contacts from your Google account. So let's navigate to our Fix and Manage option right here and you want to select Manage SIM
0:32
This will then display all the contacts that are located on the SIM card and in my case
0:37
I have I believe all of these contacts on this account. So it's deselecting some of them, not all for some reason, just so it can stop me from
0:46
duplicating them. Now you can tap on the drop-down menu and if you have multiple Google accounts you can
0:51
choose it from here. You also can choose to save these contacts to your device
0:56
Now I have all of these contacts saved to the device because I did import them and it
1:01
still like I said allows me to import one of them, which I am pretty certain still exists
1:07
But in any case, once you select one of these locations, you can then maybe deselect some
1:12
of the contacts you don't want and choose Import. It will ask you this stupid question if you want to keep or delete the contacts from your
1:20
SIM card. I recommend keeping them because they never get in your way and they are there as a kind
1:25
of safety net if something would ever happen to your device. You can just take out the SIM card, put it in another device and have access to all your contacts
1:32
So I'm going to select Keep. From there, once you import all the contacts, they will be visible in your list assuming
1:38
you have imported them to the selected list, which in this case was the Google account
1:43
so it would be visible right here. But alternatively if you chose to, for instance, import them to the device, you might need
1:50
to switch it by clicking on this icon right here where I have a T. You might have a different
1:55
letter and basically the name of the Google account, so for me it's Test Test, so it just
2:00
picks the first letter T. And from here, select either a different Google account that you
2:06
want or maybe the device and this will then display the contacts from said location
2:11
So with that being said, hopefully you found this video helpful and if you did, don't forget
2:15
to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching. Bye for now
