How to Copy Contacts on Honor 90 - Import Contacts

Welcome, Fenomi is a Honor 90 and today I will show you how we can copy your contacts from the SIM card to the device

So, to get started we will need to first find our standalone contacts application

Which might take me a moment. Is there a search? No, there is no search

Oh, wait, there we go. So we have it right here. So, in the contacts we can now click on these three dots and go to settings

And here we're looking for import-export, import from SIM. This will then display all the contacts that are on the SIM card that is in the device

We can quickly select all of them by clicking right here. If you don't want all of them you can deselect some of them and then select import

This will then ask us where we want to import these contacts to

It gives us a couple options. We have two different Google accounts that are signed in on this device

So I can choose either one of those and the phone as in just simply the phone itself

If you choose to import it to either one of your Google accounts those contacts will also appear on any other device that is signed in with these same Google accounts

Because it's imported to the account itself not the device. Now I'm going to select phone and from here the contacts should be already imported and should be visible somewhere here

Now this device does do a little bit of a wonkiness as you can see

It shows us contacts that are located on the SIM card as well

So it will be duplicating them I believe and that's probably not something that you would want to have

But I guess that's the only thing you can do here. Alternatively you could download for instance contacts by Google which gives you the option to swap it between them

So it would pull contacts only from a single location like the Google account or the device which would give you a significantly cleaner contact list
