from your SIM card to the device. And to get started you'll want to open up the contacts application, which for me is

probably in a Google folder. Yep, there we go. So right over here. Once you open it up, tap on the three bars right up in the corner, go to settings and

then at the bottom you'll find import option. From here you'll want to select that you want to import your contacts from SIM card

This will show you all the contacts that you can import. All of them will be visible that are on the SIM card, but as you can see for me, not all

of them are selectable. So the ones that are greyed out, like these ones, are greyed out and I can't select them

because they already are on this device. So the phone is just simply stopping me from creating duplicate contacts

Now additionally, it looks like it is trying to save them to my Google account, as you

can see right over here. So you can tap on this and change it instead to, for instance, a Mi account

For some reason there is no phone, which is kind of weird

Usually there should be also a phone option, which is maybe a possibility if you don't

have any kind of account added. But for me it's showing both of those, so I could choose one of them

As you can see, if I change it, it gives me an option to import all of them to the Mi account

So anyway, from here, select import. It asks you also if you want to remove those contacts from your SIM card once you import them

That is completely up to you. I don't want to remove them, so I'm going to select keep
