from the SIM card to the device. Now to get started you will want to open up your contacts application, the standalone

version of it, as you can see right over here. Let's skip signing in and then you want to tap on the three bars right in the corner

and select settings. At the bottom of the settings you will see import option and in here you want to select

that you want to import your contacts from the SIM card. This will select all the contacts that are on the SIM card and from here you can deselect

contacts that you don't want. So just tap on them to basically deselect them

Additionally, if you already see some contacts that are deselected and grayed out, that's completely fine

Those contacts already exist on your device and the phone is simply trying to stop you from importing them twice

Now going back to these contacts, once you have all the contacts selected that you want

to import, click on the button right at the top right corner. It will give you the amount of contacts that have been imported and when you go back you
