from a SIM card to the device. And to get started, you will want to open up the standalone contacts app which looks

to be located in a tools folder. And in here we're going to go into the three dots, settings and choose import, export and

this will bring up menu where you can import from SIM card, you can also export to SIM

card which is a new feature. You can import or export to storage as well, although import and export to storage will

create a VCF file. So let's start off by choosing the import from SIM card and you will have two options

you can either import it to your Google account or your device

It's probably mentioned that the Google account will only be visible if you are logged in

to your Google account on your phone, if not then it will give you only the device

But anyway, I'm going to choose device from here and this will show me all the contacts

that are on that SIM card that I have chosen. So as you can see there's not very many and all I need to do now is either tap on select

all and move them all or if I want I could select each individual contact myself, assuming

I don't want all of them. So if you want to move majority of your contacts but maybe not all of them and you have a lot

I would recommend you to select all and then deselect contacts that you don't want
