the device through recovery mode. Now this process does remove screen lock so if you have one that you don't know there

you go that's the way to kind of remove it and I did set a screen like just for this

purpose and I'll progress from the lock screen as though I wouldn't know it

So number one we will want to power off our device by holding the power key and obviously

selecting power off option. And once the device turns off all you need to do is hold power key and volume down at

the same time. So I'm going to do that right now. This will automatically boot us into the boot mode and in here using volume keys you will

want to scroll down and select recovery mode so it's visible right here and then confirm

it with power key. Now before we can actually access the recovery mode we'll get stopped by this thing android

with no command so to get past this simply hold power key and press volume up once and

there you go we are now in the recovery mode. Now just as before we will need to use volume keys to navigate through the options right

here in order to select wipe data factory reset. Now once it's selected confirm it with power key and then select factory data reset the

same way. This will give you a message for mining data and after that we should see data wipe complete
