To begin with, I'd like to point out that for this method that we're going to highlight today

you've got to know the password for your Google account or the child's Google account that is used for the parental controls

and therefore linked to the system of this device. So to start off, we'll open settings, then enter the Google category in here

Let me show you that the parental controls are active. In here, go for the manage your Google account button over here

Then go for the data and privacy section at the top part of the page

Then scroll it all the way down and tap on the delete your Google account field

Then you've got to enter the password for the account, which I'll do off the screen real quick

It is also worth mentioning that you do not need to be afraid to remove or to delete your Google account

since we will recover it right afterwards, right after we'll turn off the parental controls, so no big deal at all

In here, point out and check the boxes confirming that you are aware of everything and acknowledge everything

and then simply delete account. By getting this little something went wrong window, you understand that the account process deletion has been successful

As you can see, now in order to recover your account, you've got to open the Google Play Store, sign in
