Welcome! In front of me is a Tecno Spark 10 Pro and today I will show you how you can enable the
0:05
power saving mode on this device. So to get started we're going to pull down our notifications by
0:16
swiping down from the top of the screen and this will show us a couple different toggles right here
0:20
Now we're interested in this panel right here so we want to swipe in this panel down once more
0:26
and this will extend the panel and show us significantly more toggles. Now in here we're
0:32
obviously looking for the power saving toggle though I don't actually see it by default
0:39
Yeah I don't see it here. So what we're gonna do is click right here on these three dots and then
0:45
select edit shortcut switches. Scroll down and we should have it somewhere here
0:56
Or not. That is very interesting
1:10
So I guess the last place we can look for the power saving mode is in the settings under battery
1:16
So we have it here under battery labs or whatever that is. And we have a couple modes. So we have
1:24
the ultra power saving mode and the smart power saving scene. Oh I guess that's basically the
1:32
power saving mode. Anyway we have sleep standby optimization. This is the only thing that we have
1:40
We have sleep standby optimization. This is the only thing that we have in the normal
1:45
pseudo power saving mode. Which if I'm correct this might not be for everyone. What it will do
1:50
is just try to disconnect from wi-fi and mobile data when you're not using the device just to
1:56
preserve a little bit of battery. You do have a timer that this will affect it during. And then
2:01
we also have the ultra power saving mode which if enabled you'll kind of see how it affects the
2:08
device. So boom there we go. So it drops down the brightness significantly. Gives us only four or
2:15
three applications to work with. Calendar, messages, phone and nothing else. Any other application that
2:20
you can kind of see in the background we don't have option to turn it on anymore. We also have
2:26
the exit button right here. So once you're done with this mode you can just click on it and confirm
2:30
it by selecting ok. And your device will go back to just the normal state. Now this is this like
2:36
ultra mode is designed for specific scenarios where you don't have a charger and you really
2:45
need your device to last way longer than it could normally. So it does limit your device quite a bit
2:51
but gives you some options. Just limited options but does extend the battery by probably several
2:59
hours. But anyway so these are the two modes that you can find in here though they are not
3:06
present in the typical location as you would normally have it right here. So you have to go
3:10
through these settings. But anyway and that being said if you found this very helpful don't forget
3:15
to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
