Welcome, in front of me is a Samsung Galaxy A52 and today I'll show you how to enable
0:12
the power saving mode. And all you really need to do is pull down the notification panel, find the toggle for
0:18
it which for me is right here, power saving mode. Tap on it
0:23
Assuming you actually tap on it, there we go. And as you can see, it dropped the brightness by just a tiny bit
0:29
Now apart from dropping the brightness by a miniscule amount, it does a couple of additional things
0:35
As you can see right now I have WiFi enabled and that's about it
0:40
From the things that I'm going to mention. So I'll just assume I also had a mobile network
0:46
So during the power saving mode, if the device goes to sleep, which this is considered sleeping
0:54
it will disconnect from WiFi and mobile network to preserve battery. So if you're relying on some kind of notifications to arrive to you that would normally need
1:04
internet connection, this will prevent them from being delivered to you. They will still wait for you basically
1:10
So the moment you interact with the device, you will gain connection and those notifications
1:15
will arrive. But you basically need to interact with the device to receive them
1:20
If you don't, if you just keep it on the side waiting for those, you will be waiting for
1:25
a while. So it will only reconnect when you actually interact with the device
1:30
Now outside of this kind of not very helpful feature that does actually save battery, you
1:38
can extend the battery life yourself by doing a couple additional things outside of enabling
1:43
the power saving mode. And that would be, for instance, disabling Bluetooth
1:48
If you're not using it, then disable it. Mobile data or WiFi, choose one, disable the other
1:54
Location, if it's enabled, turn it off. You probably don't need it
1:58
NFC, again, turn it off. I don't really see it here. If you have NFC, turn it off
2:05
And probably the thing that will give you the most amount of battery is actually dropping the brightness even further
2:11
So as an example, if you are maxed out like right now, and you drop it just by half or
2:17
approximately half, you will most likely get about four hours of battery just for that brightness
2:25
And if you want to drop it even lower, you'll basically keep gaining several more hours
2:30
So it is really nice to drop the battery level to the point that you can still actually see
2:37
what's on the screen and nothing brighter. And that will give you the most amount of battery
2:45
And obviously, the power saving mode kind of becomes insignificant at that point
2:49
Just dropping the brightness will increase the battery life. So yeah. But that being said, once you're done with it, you can tap on the toggle and this will
2:57
bring up the brightness back to, I guess, what it was. And well, make the WiFi or mobile network work normally as it should
3:08
And anything that you have disabled, well, then you can re-enable yourself again
3:12
So that being said, if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe
3:16
and thanks for watching
