Welcome, I'm from Mesa Ceres CS40 and today I'll show you how to enable and set up the
0:13
portable hotspot. Now, to get started, pull down the notification panel where you should find the hotspot somewhere
0:22
Now, if that is not the case as it is for me, tap on the edit button and you'll have
0:29
it right over here it looks like. So grab it, drag it over, drop it and go back
0:37
And as you can see now we have the hotspot toggle. Now before you actually go tapping on it, you want to hold it so you can change the
0:42
password primarily. So from the settings in here, go to tethering and portable hotspot, wifi hotspot, setup
0:54
wifi hotspot, tap on the password field and just simply remove the provided password
1:00
Now it's just some kind of random gibberish, so it's a complete cluster of randomly generated
1:09
numbers and letters. We can set up our own new one and it needs to have at least 8 characters in length as
1:17
well mine does now. We can also change things like IP band or not, in this case there is only one choice
1:28
We have a choice for maximum users, so that is how many people at once can connect to
1:33
your hotspot. So you can limit it to for instance only 2 people if you want to
1:39
And also you have the network name which you can change if you want to. This will be basically how it will look like, what you will be looking for in the wifi list
1:47
So you will be looking for a wifi name CS40. You can change it to something else if you want to or you can keep it as it is, it doesn't
1:54
really matter. From there tap on save and you can now enable it either from here by tapping on the check
2:01
mark or by tapping on the toggle that we have added right here
2:07
So now I have disabled it again and now it's enabled. Now when it's enabled it will give you a notification right here that the ring or hotspot is active
2:16
and it also provides you with information how many people are connected and also how
2:20
many people you have blocked from being able to access it. So apart from that, once you're done, tap on it simply to toggle it off and you're done
2:30
