Welcome. Afronomy is a nothing phone too, and today I'll show you how we can enable and also
0:05
set up your Do Not Disturb mode. So to get started, we will need to pull down our notifications by
0:16
swiping down from home screen and swipe down once again to extend the list of toggles
0:22
Now Do Not Disturb mode is visible for me on the first page right over here, but if you don't see
0:27
it on the first page, in your case, you can swipe to the left and this will show you second and
0:32
third, fourth, however many pages you have by default. Anyway, once you find this toggle
0:37
if you're doing this the first time around, I recommend holding it. This will then quickly take
0:41
you to the settings. And in here, you can customize how this mode will function once it is enabled
0:49
Now I will only touch upon a couple of options that I find important, which starting off
0:54
that will be people. This will allow you to select who can call you or message you. With
0:59
addition for calls, having the option allow repeated callers, which looks to be enabled
1:05
by default. Now what this option will do is bypass whatever you have selected right here
1:11
If someone calls you twice within a 15 minute period, which is a good option in terms of
1:17
emergencies. When someone tries to get ahold of you, they usually spam call till you pick up
1:23
It's an emergency. So yeah. Anyway, going back, we have schedule right over here
1:31
which allows you to select a fully automatic schedule. So the mode will turn on and off
1:35
automatically based on the provided day of the week, start and end time. And if you're planning
1:41
to use a schedule, you can enable it in here and you can create ones right here. So for schedule
1:47
that's all you'd need to do. Now going back, we also have a duration for quick settings
1:53
And this option will be good for anyone who is enabling do not disturb mode, or rarely
2:00
occasionally, and doesn't have a schedule mode set up. So in this case, at least for me
2:07
I would recommend selecting for one hour. That's kind of how I would like to set it
2:12
And then just add a couple more hours to be more reasonable. The reason I recommend this option is
2:18
when you tend to enable your do not disturb mode occasionally, then you probably once you enable
2:23
it because you think you need it, you'll forget to turn it off once you're done needing it
2:28
And therefore, by normal, with normal settings, the default ones, the mode would just run
2:35
indefinitely till you remember to turn it off. But with this option right here, when you enable it
2:42
it will automatically turn off after the selected amount of hours. And once you confirm this, this is
2:47
basically the amount that it will run for the time that it will run every single time you enable it
2:54
So every time I'll enable it, it will turn on for the exact four hours. So it doesn't display right
2:59
here, it will turn off after four hours. And you can obviously turn it off before that time
3:04
by tapping on the toggle once again. So with that being said, this is all the settings right here
3:10
Obviously, enabling and disabling, you can do it from here. So if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
