Welcome! I'm filming with a Samsung Galaxy A10s and today I'll show you how to hard reset

the device through recovery mode. Now this process will also remove a screen lock if

you have one that you don't know. I'm gonna quickly lock the device. I don't actually

have a screen lock so I'll quickly set one up. There we go. So I'm gonna progress from

the lock screen as though I don't know my pattern. So to get started you want to hold

power key and the volume down at the same time and once the screen turns off you will

switch to holding power key and volume up. So you do want to wake up the device just

so you can see like this when you start holding. As you can see screen turns off, I switch

to holding volume up and this takes us to recovery mode. Now from here you will need

to use volume keys to navigate. So volume down goes down and up goes up and power key

will be used to confirm whatever is selected. And with that in mind you want to scroll down

and select wipe data factory reset and select factory data reset. So it will give you a

message data wipe complete once it's finished and reboot system now will be selected by

default. So press power key once more to initiate the reboot. Now the reboot right here will

take a little bit of time so just be patient. It is continuing the process in the background
