I'm using Apple Find X2 Pro and today I'll show you how to

reset the device through recovery mode. Now this process will also remove a screen lock. If you have one that you don't know

at least I believe it does. So I'm going to progress from here as though I don't

actually know the screen lock. So as you can see the device is locked, so let's hold the power key

Slide down to power off. And once the device turns off, you want to hold the power key and volume down

So both of those keys at the same time. And once you see the Apple logo

you can let go. Tap on your desired language, which for me is going to be English

And then choose wipe data. And select format data. I know that is a crucial part

We do have a little bit better looking wipe data, which is glowing in green

But that option is completely useless and should probably not be used for anything

Wipe data doesn't wipe data because it contains contacts, messages, and photos, which means it retains data

So yeah, just remove this option from here. Now anyway, from here

make sure you tap on format data. And to do this we will need to put in

this randomly generated number. As you can see right now it's 5219

If I go back it's going to be something else, 3916. So it's changed. So for you obviously it's also going to be different

So 3916. And once you put it in correctly it will give you this pop-up right here. So simply tap on format

And the process will begin removing all the data from your device

Now this stage is fairly quick. It's going to finish up this little progress bar

And then give us message wipe successful. Tap on OK. And this will initiate a reboot of the device and continue the process
