In this video, I will show you how to reset the Nokia 3.1 device through the recovery mode
0:14
So what we want to do at the start is actually power off the phone
0:19
Hold the power key until you actually get the power off option and then tap on it
0:24
Wait for the phone to shut off. And while it's shutting off, you will actually need also the cable you use to charge your device
0:32
So I have mine right here, as you can see, and it is plugged into the computer
0:39
And once the phone is off, I'm actually going to not destroy everything around like I am
0:45
and plug it in. Now you will see a little Android logo based on the screen
0:52
Wait for it to disappear, and right after it, you should see a battery with percentage
0:58
how much the battery is charged. And once that is visible, we will hold the power key and volume up together
1:06
Yeah, so like right now. Power key and volume up, both of those
1:14
You will feel a vibration, and then you will see the Android One screen again
1:18
And once that is visible, you will let go of the keys
1:22
So like right now. And now we wait for the no command screen
1:30
Yeah, so as you can see, the no command might be not very visible because it's a tiny little
1:40
writing, but now we can actually unplug it. It's not needed anymore
1:48
And to move further, you will hold power key and tap volume up once, so like so
1:56
And here, you will use volume keys to navigate up and down, and power key to confirm
2:03
So what we will do is select Wipe Data Factory Reset, which is this one, and confirm it with
2:10
the power key. And then once more, volume down to select no, or well, yes
2:17
And then tap on power key to confirm it, like so. The process will begin, and shortly, it will say Data Wipe Complete
2:26
Now we want to do a stop power key once more, so it's selected on Reboot System Now, which
2:31
it should be at by the default. So tap on it, and it will reboot the phone and continue the process in the background
2:38
while it's turning on. So this will actually take quite a while, so just be patient
2:44
And it'll be back once it's finished. And as you can see, now the process has been finished, and you can set up your device as
3:39
you like in the Google Setup screen. So this would complete the hard reset
3:46
