the device to recovery mode. Now this process will also remove a screen lock

if you have one that well you might not know. So I'm gonna quickly lock the

device and you can see that I do have a screen lock set and I'm gonna progress

from here as though I don't actually know it. So let's start off by holding

the power key and selecting power off. Once the device actually shuts off you want to hold power key and volume up so

both of the keys at the same time. This will take us to the boot mode so from here using only volume up you want

to select recovery mode which is the first option as you can see right here

and then when it's selected press volume down. This will confirm it

Now next thing you will see is this little Android icon right here no

command below that. So to get past this simply hold power key press volume up once and we should be done in recovery mode as we are right now. And from this

mode we will be able to actually use both of the volume keys to navigate so as you can see volume down goes down and up goes up. And what you want to do is

select wipe data factory reset right here and then confirm it with power key

Again let's select yes and this will immediately begin the process. As you can

see formatting data and then data wipe complete. Once you see that on the bottom

reboot system now should be selected by default so all you need to do now is

press power key once more to confirm it and this will initiate the reboot of the

device. Now while it's rebooting it's gonna take a little bit longer for the
