Welcome! My name is a Google Pixel 4a and today I will show you how to put the

device into fastboot mode. And to get started you want to hold power key and

from there select power off. And once the device shuts off you want to hold power

key and a volume down. Now I'll mention this right off the bat because I'm doing

this for the fourth time now. If you don't let go of the keys really fast the

device decides to reboot it because the first option that is selected is start

which just goes back to Android. So if I hold it a little bit too long or release

it too slow it just says nah we're going back. So hold power key, volume down and

then once you see it I guess you have to release it literally instantaneously. But

yeah once you do you should be in reboot mode. And from here you want to

use volume keys to select fastboot mode if it's here. Okay so it's not. So let's

go into recovery mode using volume keys obviously and then press power key to

confirm it. From there you should see the Android no command. There we go. So to get

past this hold power key, press volume up and we should be in recovery mode. And

again using volume keys you want to select the third option which is enter

fastboot, power key to confirm it and there we go we are now in fastboot mode. And from

here we can do a couple things like reboot system now which will just go back to Android. And then if we scroll down we have enter recovery mode. Takes

us back to where we just were. Reboot to bootloader which is the first screen

after powering off that we had. And then we have also the power off option which

just turns off the device. Now again whatever you select you will then confirm with power key. So I'm just gonna leave it by selecting reboot system now

And this should now take us back to Android. And there we go we are now back
