Welcome! In front of me I have Suunto 9 and I'm gonna show you how to factory
0:05
reset this watch by using the system settings. Before we start if you want to factory reset your watch make sure that the
0:16
battery level on your watch is at least above 30% because if the battery dies
0:21
during the resetting process it might damage your device. Okay now let's
0:25
continue with the reset. So first we need to open the settings. To do it use the
0:31
upper button right here to scroll through the menu. Scroll through the menu
0:35
until you find the settings icon and you can tap on the icon or use the button to
0:42
enter. Now we can scroll through the menu by using the touchscreen or the buttons
0:46
down button and up button. Make sure that the general option is selected and then
0:52
press the button or tap on it to enter. Here scroll down find the option called
1:01
reset settings, select it and then of course tap on it or press the button and
1:08
here we need to tap on the reset or press the upper button to confirm and
1:13
start the resetting process. So let's press the button and now let's wait
1:19
until the resetting process is complete. And once the resetting process is complete the progression bar will
1:31
disappear from the screen. You will need to press and hold one of the buttons to
1:35
turn the watch back on. I believe it's the upper button but it could be a
1:40
middle one. So let's press and hold the upper one first. Not this one so let's press and hold the... oh no it was the upper button. Okay so the
1:53
watch vibrated and it should turn on. As you can see now it's turning on. So it
1:59
was upper button. Basically you need to hold it for a couple of seconds and then
2:03
release it. The watch will turn on automatically. Okay and once you see
2:07
select the language on the screen this means that the factory reset is complete
