Welcome, I'm Fonomis on iPhone 13 and today I will show you how to put this device into
0:13
DFU mode. Now to get started you will want to either have a Mac or Windows computer
0:20
If you're using Windows you'll need to download iTunes just so you can see the device go into
0:24
the DFU mode. Otherwise there is no actual reason, or not reason but a way for you to see if you succeeded
0:31
or not. So anyway, once you have one or you have one you want to plug it in which I have already
0:37
plugged in. And what you will do right now is press volume up, then volume down and then you will hold
0:43
power key. And you will hold it as long as it takes for the display to turn off
0:49
Not go to sleep but fully like turn off the device. At which point once it has you will then also hold volume down and once you start holding
0:58
volume down start countdown from 0 to 5 or from 5 to 0, whichever way
1:03
But basically 5 seconds. After 5 seconds you will let go of only the power key
1:08
So basically just kind of showing it right now. So up, down, power, screen turns off, volume down additionally, 5 seconds, 1, 2, 3, 4
1:20
5, you let go of the power and keep holding volume down for the remainder of the time
1:24
till you see DFU mode or your device actually appear in recovery mode because that's how
1:31
iTunes sees it. And well iTunes. So now I am going to actually get into it
1:39
So light up the screen, up, down, power
1:52
There it is, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, let go of the power, keep holding volume down
2:03
And now all you need to do is just keep looking at iTunes. And there we go
2:07
As you can see it now shows our device in, well like I mentioned, recovery mode but that's iTunes
2:16
It's not the best program out there even though it's the only one for Apple products
2:23
So yeah, it shows recovery mode instead of DFU mode. Now on the phone itself you can see that it basically shows nothing and if you unplug
2:32
it it will disappear from iTunes. Now obviously the phone won't turn on right now
2:36
It's in DFU mode. If you re-plug it, it goes back to showing you the recovery mode
2:42
And to boot it out of this DFU mode what you need to do is press volume up, volume down
2:47
and then hold power key till it basically disappears from iTunes. So just to show that as you can see it's right now in iTunes
2:55
Up, down and keep holding volume down till this just disappears. And there we go
3:08
As you can see it just disappeared right now. So you can let go of the keys and simply wait for the phone to turn back on
3:17
And there we go. So if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
