Hi everyone! In front of me I've got Samsung Tab Active 3 and let me share with you how to block a number on this device

So let's start with maybe blocking the number which is saved on your contacts because today I'd like to show you two different ways of blocking the number

So as I said let's start with your contact list. You can enter it through the dialer

Find the contact you'd like to edit and tap on it. So let me pick Harry and then tap on the three dots icon in the right lower corner and tap on block contact

Your device will of course ask you if you really want to do it because you will no longer receive any incoming calls or text messages from this number

So let's simply tap on block and I hope that you can see this small icon next to the number which is like the circle which is crossed out

It is a characteristic icon which shows that the number has been blocked successfully

Of course we can unblock it the same way just by tapping on more and tapping on unblock contact but let me leave it blocked because we'll check if it will appear on the blacklist as we have to enter it in our second way of blocking the number

So let's tap on the three dots icon in this left section and tap on the settings

Right here we have to tap on block numbers and as you can see this is our blacklist and that's the number we blocked from our contacts Harry

So fortunately the previous option also works. What is more here after entering the blacklist you can still enter the contact messages or the recents and for example block a lot of numbers in a row

So it also can be useful but what's more here you can enter the number manually which simply means that you don't have to have it saved

You did not have to contact with it or anything like that. You can also paste it if you've got it copied and then tap on this plus icon and as you can see it will immediately appear on the blacklist

What is more at the top of this list we've got block calls from unknown numbers you can turn this option on or off up to you

Basically your device will be allowed to block the calls from all unidentified callers

If you want to unblock the number simply tap on this minus icon next to it
