Welcome, I'm from Samsung Galaxy S21 and today I'll show you how to record a screen on this device
0:14
Now to get started, let's pull down the notification panel, expand it and look for the toggle
0:18
which for me by default is right over here. Now once you find it, you can either tap on it and start recording with whatever settings
0:24
are set by default or you can hold it and this will take us to settings where I can
0:28
change a couple of different things. So we have things like screenshot toolbar, I guess that's kind of redundant
0:34
Let's see. There we go, screen recording. So we have sounds, so you can record either no sound, media sound or media sound and microphone
0:42
Now when you're going for the last option with media sound and microphone, I do recommend
0:46
you to use headphones because if you don't, for instance, whatever sound will be coming
0:51
off the speakers will be also being picked up by the microphone and that will create
0:55
undesirable echo effect. Now outside of that, we have video quality and 1080p is the highest one
1:02
That's also because the screen on here is a 1080p and then we can include a selfie if
1:09
we want to. So this will basically allow us to use the front facing camera to record whatever the
1:15
front facing camera would see. Now in here you do have a slider to basically make it bigger or smaller
1:22
So choose the size that you want and then let's basically leave this and now if we tap
1:27
on the toggle, it will give us the same options I guess here
1:32
So you just tap on done and there we go. Allow screen capture to take pictures and record videos. Yes
1:43
Let's actually select while using this app and while using this app and allow Samsung
1:47
capture to access photos, media. Yep. That's so it can actually save
1:52
And then again, it brings us the sound options. So let's just start recording anyway
1:56
And three, two, one, and there we go. So now that I can see, it's going to be recording whatever I do
2:05
And on top we have a couple things visible. So for instance, we have a pen we can start drawing
2:10
This will be recorded. We can toggle it off. We can also toggle on the camera
2:16
As you can see, there we go. And toggle it off. Now you do have the ability to actually turn it on, move it around
2:25
So if you want to keep it somewhere else, you're free to do so. And then also we have the pause option
2:30
So this will pause the current recording, which you can in the meantime, open up some
2:34
kind of application. I don't know, put in a password if you're recording something as sensitive
2:38
And then simply resume from where you are right now. And this will continue the recording
2:45
So as an example, it's right now paused. I could, as an example, open up things like our web browser
2:50
Let's just open up something else. There we go. Phone. And now I can resume recording and basically move around and just stop it right now
3:02
So this will finish up the recording. And from here, I can find that recording in my photo gallery
3:07
So let's open up the gallery. I'm also going to completely mute this
3:12
There we go. There's the recording. Let's play the video. So you can see whatever I was doing was being recorded
3:30
There's the camera. And you should also see in a second the pause option
3:46
There we go. There wasn't actually a pause in the recording, but you instantly saw it switch to a app that
3:53
was basically being already open, which is basically what it will do
3:58
So that being said, that is basically how you would record a screen on this phone
4:02
