So to get started, what you want to do is hold your power key. Once you see the boot options, select power off

And when the phone turns off, hold power key and volume up at the same time

Now I'll mention that this process does remove also screen lock, so if you have one that you just don't know, this will allow you to get rid of it

Now with that being said, when you see the Huawei logo, after a couple seconds of seeing that logo you can then let go of those keys and shortly afterwards we should see the recovery mode

So from here, select clear data, and then factory reset. Now right here we do have a confirmation by just typing in yes. It has nothing to do with the screen lock
