Welcome

I film is a real me 6S and today I'll show a couple tweaks and tricks that I can do on this device
0:13
So starting off we're going to begin with the dark mode which can be easily accessed through the notification panel
0:18
and you'll have the taggle right over here and while tapping on it and it will change your system into dark mode
0:25
and that includes things like your notification panel is now in dark and majority of the apps
0:29
of the apps as well. So if we go into settings as an example
0:34
you'll see that now it's all in dark mode. Also things like messages, dialer
0:41
see everything is in dark mode. Now this won't include every app
0:47
probably some apps that you will download from Play Store will not be included by this
0:51
and the developer needs to either add or implement their own dark mode
0:55
or add support for the Android 10s version of it. So moving on we're going to go into the refresh rate which allows you to increase the
1:04
refresh rate of the display meaning that you can display more data on a display per frame or
1:12
per second I would say I just probably daisy's way to explain this is imagine a slideshow
1:19
and imagine that the slideshow is showing 60 slides but per second so that's the default one
1:28
but on this device we can increase it to 90 so you will have basically additional 30 slides of images more to view
1:41
which in terms of make animations and just overly navigating and scrolling through things
1:48
way smoother than it actually was before at 60. And by default you might not actually see this
1:56
When it's enabled, you might not realize it. but the moment you see the difference it's kind of hard to unsee it I would say
2:03
so to get it enabled you want to go into the settings then display and brightness and we
2:10
sure have the screen refresh rate right here so set it to 90 and then it will be all set
2:17
now I don't have any way of actually showing you the difference between the 90 and the 60
2:22
the camera records at 60 so anything above that will not be captured so even though
2:27
right now for me it's at 90 and I can see the difference on the recording this
2:33
difference will not be visible at all it will look exactly the same as it does
2:37
on 60 so it's something that you will have to test on your own on your own device so
2:44
moving on we're going to go into the notification center which by default if you
2:48
pull down you have the search as you can see but there is a way for you to
2:53
actually be able to pull down the notification panel right here and instead of
2:57
getting it straight from the tab. So again to get this enabled we're going to go
3:02
into these settings and this time we're going to go into home screen. So right
3:07
below and then see swipe down on home screen notification center and now if we leave
3:18
you can see that we're swiping down the notification panel which in my
3:22
opinion is a better option to slide down on rather than the search I can search my
3:28
stuff on the field right here if I want to all the apps right here along also
3:34
with the search so I don't really see the purpose of the other one. That's just me. If you prefer to have the other search, then go right ahead. I rather
3:42
have the notification. Then moving on, we're going to go into the gesture navigation
3:48
which will remove the buttons from the bottom, as we have right now, and substitute them
3:53
for gestures. And to get those enabled, we're again going to go into these settings
3:58
and then scroll down to convenience tools, navigation buttons, and switch it to swipe gestures
4:06
from both sides. You'll have an animation right here of how it works. But the gist of it
4:14
slide up quickly to close up, slide up and hold from the bottom to go into recent and swipe
4:21
from sides to go back. So starting off with the back ones you can see that the moment you
4:25
slide it there is a arrow visible and also slide it further and this will go to the previous
4:30
app. As you can see it appears with a dialer. Same thing goes from this side
4:36
As you can see it does the same thing and if you slide it further and hold it again switches to dialer
4:43
So if I slide quickly from the side it just goes back Then if we slide and hold it opens up recent as you can see right now and if we are in an app and just slide quickly
4:56
it simply closes it and as you can see is remove the buttons from the bottom
5:01
also shifted the entire page a little bit down to accommodate the empty space
5:06
that previously was occupied by the buttons so now moving on to the last thing
5:13
that I want to show is a simple split screen but on this device it has a neat way
5:20
of being enabled so normally when you're trying to enable you would go into recent top on the three or two dots and go into split screen so this is one way
5:29
you can do it but on this device it is fairly easy to launch it so number one
5:34
open up an app that we want to have on top which is an example I'm going to use
5:39
YouTube it seems to be one of the better options and once it's open with three
5:43
fingers, swipe up, it cuts it like so, opens up your home screen and from here you
5:48
can open up any other app that you wish to split screen with. So for instance, Chrome. And as you
5:53
can see, now we have split screen. It's a really quick and easy way to launch it. And once
5:59
you want to leave it, want you to just drag one all the way down and close it. So this will
6:07
conclude all the tweaks and tricks that on as a share. And if you found them helpful, Don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
