Welcome! Enfanami is an iPhone 11 and today I will show you how to perform a hard reset of the device
0:12
through DFU mode. So before we get started there is a couple things we'll need. Starting off we'll
0:17
need iTunes if you're using a Windows-based PC. If you're using a Mac you don't need it
0:21
it's already installed. So on Windows if you don't have it you can just go to
0:26
the Apple website and then look for iTunes. It should be somewhere on the main page
0:33
and download and install it. Once you have that you want to also then get the cable that you use
0:37
for charging, plug it into the computer that you will be using for this process and also connect
0:42
it to the phone itself like so. And you can see that it pops up right here. So that's the device
0:52
and now all we need to do is put this phone into the DFU mode. Now I will show how to do it but if
0:59
you're still struggling with it you can always go into hard reset.info website and right here in
1:05
hidden modes you will find a DFU mode where it gives you a written guide and a little kind of
1:10
like a GIF animation of how to do it. As you can see that you press volume up down then hold power
1:17
key and keep holding it for the entire time. Phone shuts off then you add the volume down
1:21
and let go of power key after a moment. There we go. And then it should boot into the DFU mode
1:31
Now keep in mind that if you hold power key for too long it will actually just boot up
1:36
boot back up normally. So it's kind of like an interval of 10 seconds that you need to hold
1:43
power key. But let's get into it. So I'm going to be counting down while pressing the key
1:50
combinations. So I'm going to start with pressing volume up down and holding power key for 10
1:56
seconds. So let's go up and down power one two three four five six seven eight nine ten one
2:14
two three four five and keep holding volume down. And there it is. Now the device is in DFU mode. Now on the screen there is nothing visible it's
2:33
just black. It looks like the phone is still off but when it's plugged into iTunes you can see that
2:38
it shows its recovery mode but there is no logo of recovery mode on the phone. So this is the
2:46
DFU mode that we're looking for. And from here you can just tap on restore iPhone right here
2:52
And if you're doing this for the first time iTunes will start downloading the correct
2:57
version of iOS considering you cannot restore it to an older version even though you don't really
3:02
need to do anything much. So if you don't have internet like you can't do this at all iTunes
3:10
will just completely block you if it cannot check the version of the most current iOS. So just tap
3:17
on restore and update. Now I already have it like I said so it doesn't need to download it because
3:22
it's already somewhere on my computer and it's just going to extract it and then start installing it
3:27
to the phone. Now this might take several minutes so just be patient and once it's finished we
3:33
should be then greeted with the setup screen of the phone. So I'll be back once that is actually
5:08
done. And as you can see now the process is completely finished. On the computer side you can just tap
5:23
here right here to set up as new and tap on continue. It's started and all you need to do
5:28
is just unplug the phone and go to the setup so which is a language region
5:42
Disregard the battery level and we're going to go set up manually
5:47
I'm gonna basically gonna go to this into the setup as quick as possible
5:52
not really setting up anything just trying to skip through most of this. So
6:22
and there we go. Now the process is fully finished. So that is how you would perform
6:27
the reset through DFU mode and if you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
