Welcome and follow me as a Cubot Note 9 and today I will show you how you can go
0:05
through the setup process of this phone. So to get started once you boot it up for the first time you should be
0:14
presented with this screen right over here where you get to select your desired language from the drop-down list. Now for me I already selected correct
0:20
one so I'm just gonna tap on it again and then select start. Now on the next
0:27
page we have the option to insert a SIM card and now this is one of the options
0:30
for you to connect to mobile network so you can insert either a SIM card or
0:34
obviously connect to Wi-Fi. If you choose to skip both of them then throughout the
0:39
setup process you will not see the Google login page and additionally date
0:43
and time usually isn't set automatically or correctly. And if you select to
0:48
connect to either one of them so if you insert a SIM card or instead of that
0:52
just connect to Wi-Fi then everything will be obviously in opposite so you
0:57
will have the Google login page and date and time will be set automatically. So
1:03
anyway I'm gonna be skipping both of them. There is the setup offline. This
1:12
will then bring up a window with the date and time because it's not set
1:16
automatically so you could fix it up if you want to. If you decided to skip both
1:20
of them just as I did or you can just ignore it like I will because once you
1:25
connect to some kind of network later on it will automatically fix it up anyway
1:31
This will then bring us to the Google Play services or just Google services so
1:36
we have location scanning and sending user and diagnostic data. You can tap on
1:41
this tiny little arrow to extend the explanation of what this function does
1:45
and if you don't like it just turn it off. From there scroll all the way down
1:50
or just tap on the button twice and this will then take us to the next page which
1:58
allows us to protect our phone which by default it opts into a four-digit PIN
2:03
but if you want to do it in some other way you can just select screen lock
2:06
options and have also pattern or password as a unlocking method. Now if
2:12
you don't want to protect your phone at all you can select skip and as you can
2:20
see this will finish up the setup and you can now use your phone. So if you
2:24
found this very helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
