Welcome. And following me is a Motorola Moto E6S and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this device
0:10
Now they will be relatively simple. This device doesn't have like any great features, so bear with me
0:18
Anyway, let's get started by opening up settings. And in here, if we go under the display, we'll find a couple options
0:25
Now I'm gonna start off with ones that are more catered towards like ease of use for people that might just have problems with seeing the device or using it
0:35
So this will include things like the display size. And here you will see that it's set by default to would you look at that a default
0:45
So you can actually make it larger if you want to. This will increase not only the text that you see, but also all the options like the buttons, the all the icons and stuff like that
0:57
So even on the home screen, you'll see that the icons are a little bit bigger than they were before
1:05
Now for me, it's a little bit too big. So I'm going to bring it back to default. Now moving on to a couple additional options that are also in here, we have the lift to wake and top to wake
1:17
Now these are relatively similar, but one of them is enabled. So we have top to wake and if you don't like it, you can turn it off
1:25
And also if you want to obviously use lift to wake, you can enable this. Though personally, I also don't like it when when I lift up the device and just carry in my hand and it just always turns on the screen
1:36
So if you're also on the same boat that you don't like it, you might want to keep it off
1:42
So there we go. Moving on to next option, it's going to be the device theme
1:48
Now unlike the typical device theme option or what the more newer version of it, this one only changes like some some parts of the UI, not everything
2:02
So let me just show you. So if we go into device theme, which is again under the display all the way at the bottom and we select it to be dark
2:11
That's it. Now you might think it didn't really change anything, but it did change things like for instance your notifications
2:19
So there we go. So this will just add a little bit of a, let's call it a flare of darkness to your system
2:27
Now last thing that I wanted to show is the hiding password option
2:32
Now what I mean by that because it's kind of hard to, I guess, understand what I mean when I'm just saying what it is
2:39
So if for instance I go into something like wifi and start typing in a password
2:46
you can see the letters that I'm pressing on my keypad, obviously, but here they're showing up for a little bit longer than obviously what you're pressing
2:54
And if someone is obviously peeping over your shoulder, they're getting the entire password nicely in a sequence right here
2:59
And as long as they can keep up looking at the letters that come one after another, it should be fairly easy for them to gather your password
3:09
So what you can do is navigate into security and location and right here at the bottom you'll see show password
3:17
You can turn that off and this will completely remove the letters that show up here
3:25
They will immediately become this kind of dots and you have no way of reading it
3:29
Now the only thing that is left is just kind of the letters that show up when you press the button
3:34
But usually when you just like quickly tap, it's much harder to see the actual letter that you press on the keyboard rather than it showing up for like a second right here
3:45
So there we go. Now with this being said, this will conclude the tweaks and the tricks that I wanted to show you
3:51
