Welcome. In front of me is a Motorola Moto E6s and today I'll show you how you can hard reset this phone through recovery mode
0:11
Now, doing this through recovery mode will allow you to get rid of screen locks. So if you have one set that you just don't remember, this will obviously remove it completely
0:21
Now, there is one downside to this, that if you are logged into a Google account, which I'll just quickly show you
0:28
So under accounts, if you are logged into a Google account, the device will become FRP locked
0:34
And just to kind of explain what this means is, once the reset of the device is finished and you're going to the setup, you will need to verify either the Google account or the previously used screen lock to finish up the setup
0:48
So, like I said, that's one downside, but obviously if you know your Google account, then it shouldn't be a problem
0:54
Now, if you don't know either one of those for some reason, I'll be also making a video on how you can bypass this and just completely get rid of it without much problem
1:04
So, anyway, if you're interested in that, stay tuned for the next video. Now, jumping back to this one, let me lock the device and we can begin reset
1:13
So we can see the pattern. So start off by turning off the device. When the phone turns off, you want to hold power and volume up at the same time
1:24
When you see boot mode, which is this thing right here, using only volume up, you want to select the middle option, or not the middle, first option, which is recovery mode
1:37
So just make sure that the arrow jumps all the way back and then press volume down to confirm it
1:41
From here, using both volume keys to navigate, you want to select wipe data, factory reset, and then confirm it with power key
1:58
Select yes. And as you can see, at the bottom you should see data wipe complete, at which point the reboot system now will be selected by default
2:08
So press power key once again and the process will continue. Now, I will plug in the device to charge just because it's a little bit on the low side in terms of the battery. It's like 20%
2:21
So I wouldn't want it to just die out throughout the process
2:26
But obviously, if your phone is charged, you shouldn't have any kind of problems. And as you can see, the reset is now finished and you can set up your phone however you like
3:05
Now, like I mentioned before, for me the device will become FRP locked, which you can see right here, so I'll be doing a video on how you can bypass this
3:12
Now, with this being said, if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
