Welcome, and following me is a Samsung Galaxy A01 Core and today I'll show you how to

hard reset the device through recovery mode and also remove a screen lock if

you have one that you don't know. So to get started I will lock the device and I

do have a pattern set so I'll progress from here as though I wouldn't know my pattern. And number one we're gonna want to power off our device by holding

power key and volume down. So you want to light up the displays just so you can

see it. Hold both of those keys at the same time. Now you want to kind of

interact with the device so you can see when it turns off. Okay there it is so

it's off. Now switch from volume down to volume up. Keep holding power key

And there we go we are now in the recovery mode. So from here using volume

keys you want to scroll down in order to select wipe data factory reset and

then confirm it with power key. Again select factory data reset. Confirm that

Give it a second it should give you, there we go, message data wipe complete. At

which point reboot system now will be selected by default. So press power key once more and this will now boot us back into Android after a couple minutes. Now

what it's gonna be doing is continuing the process of resetting the device in

the background. So like I said it's gonna take it a little bit longer to turn on
