Inconi is an iPhone 11, and today I will show you how to perform a hard reset of the device through recovery mode
0:13
So before we get started, there's a couple things you need. Number one is iTunes, if you're using a Windows computer
0:19
If you're using a Mac, it doesn't matter, it's already installed. And the second thing we'll need is the cable that is normally for charging and plug it into the computer that you will actually be using for this process
0:30
So once you have that you can actually plug it into the phone
0:34
So I'm going to do that right now. And now we're going to put the phone into the recovery mode
0:46
So a quick way you can check it right here how to do it
0:50
So in the hard reset you just search for your phone. And you have in hidden modes you have ZFU and the recovery mode
0:56
And basically all you need to do is just shut it off and then hold it. cut it off and then hold the power key
1:02
So I'm gonna do it right now and you can follow the way I'm doing it
1:08
So what you want to do is press volume up, volume down and then hold power key for the entire
1:14
time until you see a kind of like a computer logo on a phone screen
1:21
So I'm gonna start right now, volume up, volume down and power key
1:27
And that's basically all you need to do. you see that specific logo
1:34
The phone will shut off automatically then turn back on and then actually put it into the Recovermore as we need it to be and for the entire time you want to hold it the power key
1:50
okay and there it is so you can let go now from here it gives you a prompt that there is an update
2:02
and cancel and as you can see iPhone recovery mode and you can then top on
2:09
restore iPhone and restore iPhone and restore and update
2:20
and mind you the first time you will be doing this the
2:26
program will actually need to download the correct iOS version and it was around like close
2:32
to 4 gigabytes of a file. But once it actually is downloaded, you don't need to do that again
2:38
It's just stored on your computer somewhere, wherever iTunes is actually storing it. And whenever
2:43
you do this, it will then use that file. It's just always the first time you're trying to do it
2:50
and there's a newer version that will need to download it. And if it gives you some kind of error
2:55
like I got an error before, that it just couldn't do it for some reason, you can just
3:02
just do update that was besides the restore you can top update and then it will
3:07
automatically start downloading it to occur to the device that is plugged in so let's
3:14
just wait for the process to finish Nash I'm
4:15
So as you can see, the brush almost finished now
4:27
You can just set it up as new or restore it right here
4:32
So I'm going to set it up as new considering we wanted to do a hard reset and just up and continue
4:38
Get started and you could start thinking. start syncing data to the phone right now and the phone is still finishing up the process
4:50
of like setup so i just give it a little bit more time and once it finished we can then go to the actual setup of the device
5:12
And there it is. So I'm actually going to unplug it. It's not going to be syncing anything so the cable is not very needed
5:22
Okay, so freedom here is going to go to a really quick setup of the device
5:27
So I just set up manually. I'm not going to connect to network
5:34
As long as I can actually skip it. So continue. Hmm. I'm going to agree
5:58
Now basically choosing everything to set up later or not set it up at all
6:12
Just to go through it as quick as possible. And we're done
6:20
So that is how you would perform a hard reset of the device through the recovery mode
6:24
