Welcome, in front of me is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus
0:05
and today I will show you how you can put this device into safe mode
0:09
So to get started, you want to pull down your notifications by swiping down from the top of the screen, and swipe down once again
0:21
and this will show you your power button right here. Tap on it once, and then you want to hold power off
0:28
So when you hold the power off, it will give you an additional option
0:33
as you can see. Tap again to restart your tablet in safe mode
0:36
So we're going to do that. And in safe mode, only the pre-installed applications will function
0:42
so any app that you have installed yourself will temporarily be turned off
0:46
and neither you nor the device will be able to start it up
0:49
something to keep in mind. And obviously, this mode is designed for troubleshooting your tablet
0:56
so if you don't have any problems with it, there is really no reason to boot it up in there, as far as I'm aware
1:03
so just pointing that out. Now let's give it a moment for it to boot up into the mode
1:08
so I'll let it boot and come back once, never mind, once it's on
1:13
So once the device boots up, you can see we have safe mode marking right here at the bottom, and in terms of widgets
1:19
as you can see, they don't work in this mode, and also a bunch of applications from Samsung will not function
1:25
Now let's see which ones those are. Okay, so all of these Samsung apps seem to not function
1:32
or they are not installed. Yeah, I think they're not installed. So all these are not installed
1:41
but I know for a fact that there are applications from Samsung
1:45
let's see if I can actually see them, that don't work, and some of those would be a calculator
1:52
most certainly I know for a fact that it doesn't work for some weird reason
1:58
The Samsung browser doesn't work in here, and we do have actually a couple of options or applications installed
2:04
that won't work. As you can see, they become gray, and if you try to open it up, it gives you this pop-up right here
2:09
So that's how the apps that won't work look in this mode
2:13
Now once you're done with it, and you want to go back to normal mode, so you can, again, use all your applications
2:18
find the boot options again, and this time around, select restart, the device will boot up again
2:24
and once it does, it automatically goes back to normal mode. So with that being said, if you found this video helpful
