Welcome and my name is Samson Galaxy Tab S7 Plus and today I'll show you how to format
0:12
your SD card. And to get started, you want to open up settings
0:18
From here, scroll down to battery and device care. Tap on your storage right over here
0:29
As you can see, we are right now on the internal storage, so what you want to do is simply
0:33
swipe over. And tap on that 3 dots right over here. Choose advanced and select your SD card, which will take you to the actual format option
0:45
So from here, you can tap on format. It will bring up a message that formatting will erase any existing content on the SD
0:52
card to avoid losing content. Back it up before formatting. So if there's anything on that card that you would like to keep, maybe photos, music
0:59
anything like that, then make a copy on your computer or somewhere else
1:03
Otherwise, you will lose this data and you won't be able to recover it
1:08
But assuming you have already done this before or you simply might not want to, select format
1:13
SD card. This will begin the process of removing all the data from the card
1:18
Only takes several seconds. It should be right about done. There we go
1:22
So from here, click on done and you're completely finished with the process. So if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
