Welcome and from me is a Xiaomi Mi 9 and today I'll show you how to add a
0:12
shortcut for split-screen. So the simplest way I can just choose one of
0:17
the buttons I have right below here and mind you this won't work if you're using
0:21
gestures so keep that in mind but to do it we will go into the settings and then
0:27
go into additional settings right here buttons and gesture shortcuts and from
0:34
here open split-screen you can see right here and by default it's set to none so
0:42
you can just choose which one you like long press home button menu or back
0:45
which is each one of the three buttons here and I'm just gonna change it to
0:51
many like so and now when you leave it for instance I'm just gonna open some
0:58
open up settings actually as a example if you hold the button now it will open
1:03
up straight split-screen and also then tap the button here and open up some
1:08
secondary app so I can open up Chrome and I can use two apps at the same time
1:14
now this probably works the best if you for instance let's see I'm actually
1:19
gonna open up something that works probably a little bit better with this
1:28
so not now long press and now I can browse web while listening to something
1:35
on YouTube so that's probably the best use of it but yeah that's basically how
1:41
you can set it up and if you found this video helpful don't forget to hit like
1:46
subscribe and thanks for watching
