Welcome, my name is Realme8 and today I'll show you how to put this device into recovery mode
0:12
Now to get started, hold the power key, slide down to power it off and once it powers down
0:19
you want to hold the power key and volume down both keys at the same time
0:24
So let's hold them right now and when you see the Realme logo on the screen, you can
0:28
let go of the power key but keep holding volume down and once you see this tiny little text
0:34
right here, recovery mode, you can let go of basically all the keys and wait for it
0:39
to boot into, well, recovery mode. From here, simply tap on the language that you wish to use and there we go
0:49
We are now in the recovery mode. Now the options here are fairly limited
0:52
As you can see, you can either power off or reboot the device, wipe data, do an update
0:57
or install from storage, which I would assume is also some sort of update but different way
1:04
And also, I'll mention one thing before you go off, for instance, wiping your device
1:08
If you go right here, you have two options, you have wipe data and format data
1:13
In normal circumstances, there should be only one and wipe data should do the trick but
1:18
as you can see, this wipe data is super special and it doesn't actually wipe data
1:24
It retains photos, messages and contacts, which makes it not wipe data because photos
1:30
messages and contacts are the data. So if you want to perform a factory reset of your device, make sure you go with the
1:37
second option. But yeah, that being said, it's basically all we have in here so once you're done with
1:46
this mode, you can either simply tap on OK if you performed a factory reset, it will
1:51
just pop up with the window OK. Any other option, you will have to navigate back here using the arrow right here and choose
1:59
reboot and confirm that again and this will take us to Android
2:16
And as you can see, we're now back in Android. So if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
