Welcome, in front of me is an LG V60 and today I will show you how to hard reset the device

through the recovery mode and also remove a screen lock on top of that

So let me quickly lock the device so you can see that there is a screen lock and I'm gonna

progress from here as though I don't know it. Now before I actually begin the process I'm gonna quickly say how it's done because it's

not necessarily the most straightforward one. So we will need to forcibly shut off the device by holding power key and volume down because

we need to put in a pattern if you normally try to power it on so as you will see right

now if I try to power it off normally I press power off and it just goes back to hey draw

So what we're gonna do is hold volume down and power key till the display turns off or

the entire device in that case and once it turns off keep holding it and when you see

the LG V40 logo you wanna let go of power key and then hold it again

So now let's get to it. So power key, volume down disregard the screenshot it's gonna be automatically taken every time

Now I did let go of the power key a little bit too early but I did it once more when

And from here using volume keys you wanna select yes factory data reset is the only

thing accessible at the moment because the device has a pattern so let's select yes and

then power key to confirm it. Again using volume keys let's select yes to delete all user data confirm it and the process
