Welcome, Efonom is a Nokia 2.2 and today I will show you how to transfer files
0:09
from your phone to an SD card or vice versa. And to get started you want to
0:14
open up the files app which is this one right here. Tap on that. Tap on continue
0:23
and then scroll down. Now at the bottom whatever get rid of that. At the bottom
0:32
you should see your internal storage and your SD card. If you don't see anything
0:37
here you will need to actually enable it and to do so tap on the three dots right
0:41
here and go into where I hit it. So you should see this show storage devices and
0:48
once you tap on it they will appear at the bottom here. So from here find where
0:53
your files are that you wish to move. Now I'm gonna move photos. I guess a single
0:59
photo I think. Let's go and to the internal storage because I think that's
1:04
where it is located. So if you're not sure for instance if you also want to
1:08
move photos. Photos that have captured with the device videos will always be
1:13
located under the DCIM folder. So right here. As you can see it's empty
1:20
Screenshots will be under pictures. As you can see there's one screenshot and
1:28
downloads will contain anything that you have downloaded either using email or
1:32
web browser. So anything that have downloaded from those places will always
1:36
be located here. And also if you go into the SD card you also will find a DCIM
1:47
folder which if the device sets it by default to be a safe location well when
1:52
it detects it your photos could actually be located on the SD card already. As you
1:57
can see I have one right here. So keep that in mind. And so once you find the
2:06
file that you wish to transfer which I'm gonna use that image on the SD card. So
2:11
keep in mind I'm moving it from the SD card so that's where it is right now. Let's
2:16
go to the DCIM and camera and there is the image that I want to move. So start
2:22
off by holding the image and then it becomes checked like it is right now. And
2:25
then you can tap on the three dots and you have the two options either to move
2:29
or copy to. And choose whichever one you want. Copy will just create an
2:34
additional copy of it while move will completely remove it from where it is
2:38
right now and move it to the new designated location. So I'm gonna select
2:42
move and from here select where you want to move it to. So I'm gonna move it
2:49
somewhere completely else so because it originated from the SD card which I just
2:54
tapped by mistake on. Back and do that again. So move. So because it originated
3:00
from the SD card I'm gonna go to the internal storage which is the phone
3:04
itself. Let's tap that and just to keep it organized I'm gonna move it back to
3:09
the DCIM folder and camera and move it right here. And allow. And you can see it
3:17
moving and now this folder is empty so that's where the photo was but it's not
3:23
anymore. And if I would go back to the internal storage now and DCIM and camera
3:29
you will see that the image can be found here now. And the same process works for
3:34
any kind of file so it doesn't need to be photo it can be video it can be some
3:38
kind of documents it can even be the folder itself like this one. You can select
3:42
it the same way you would do with just this image and move it, copy it, whatever
3:47
you want. And that is how you copy, move and if you found this very helpful
3:53
don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
