Hi everyone, here we've got Samsung Galaxy A42 and let me show you how to block a number

on this device. So actually we've got two different options to choose from

The first one is using directly your contact list so you can block the numbers which are

currently saved on your device or you can do it using the dialer settings let's say

Of course I will show you both options. So let's begin with your contact list

Let's tap on this dialer, go to your contact list and find the contact you want to block

Simply tap on it and click on this info icon. Now all you have to do is simply tap on the three dots icon in the right upper corner

which are here and tap on block contact. Now your device is asking you if you really want to do it and if you want just tap on block

And from now on this number is blocked so you won't receive any incoming calls or text

messages from that number. If you want to unblock it from this position from the contact list just tap on the three

dots icon again and tap on unblock contact but let me leave it blocked

And now let me show you the second option. And here it doesn't really matter if you will be on your keypad, recents, contacts or places

Just tap on the three dots icon in the right upper corner and choose the settings

As you can see here we've got the settings are the only option but after for example

tapping on recents and tapping on the three dots icon you've got much more options to

choose from but all you have to do is simply tap on the settings and on the very first

position we've got blocked numbers option so let's tap. Here we've got our blacklist and this is the number we just blocked and it appeared right here

Here you can add a phone number to the blacklist manually from the recents or from the contact

list also. Let me show you how to do it manually. Simply tap on the space, type the number you want to block and tap on this plus icon

As you can see it immediately appears on our blacklist and from now on we won't receive

any incoming calls or text messages from that number. What's more your device gives you an opportunity to block all unknown or hidden numbers

Here we've got those options so it will just block all numbers which are not saved on it
