We can block a number using our contact list or simply using the settings

So first of all, let me show you the first option. Let's open the dialer and go to your contacts

Let's find the contact you want to block. Let's tap on it and choose the three dots icon

As you can see here, we've got block numbers option, so let's tap on it

As you can see by this icon, we can say that this number is blocked, so it means that from
