Welcome, Venom is a sharp B10 and today I will show you how to transfer photos
0:10
videos or any kind of file from the phone to an SD card. And to get started
0:15
you want to open up files app so find that wherever it is. So file
0:23
manager as you can see right here. Grant whatever it requires and once it's open
0:30
you will have the option from between the two storages so the phone one and the SD card and my files or photos that I want to transfer are on the phone so
0:40
that's what I'm gonna choose and if you haven't inserted the SD card before it
0:45
will most likely be located on the phone as well and from here find your files so
0:51
if you're looking for your photos that you have taken with a device or videos they'll be located under DCIM file folder so right here also that's where
1:01
the photo that I have taken is located at so if I tap on it you can see that's
1:06
just a background right there so once you find it you can select it which I'm
1:14
gonna go to it I'm also gonna show where you can find other files if you don't
1:18
know so download folder will have everything that you have downloaded to a browser or also I think from email addresses so if you're using email on
1:25
the phone and you download something it will probably be located right here I
1:29
have nothing here so that's why it's empty and screenshots that you have
1:33
taken with the device will be located under pictures so basically those are
1:38
the three most notable ones now files like music and movies or stuff like that
1:44
will be located in its own folders and neatly organized as well so going back
1:51
to it I'm gonna copy the file so once you find it you can either hold it to
1:57
select it like so you'll see that it's selected by the blue mark right here and
2:03
once you select one you can then just tap on the rest of them if you have multiple files just the first one needs to be held to actually get to select it
2:11
now if you have a lot of photos that you want to move and you don't want to
2:14
select them each individually you can just select the entire folder also so
2:20
let's click and see hold it and it also gets selected so for this purpose I'm
2:25
just gonna move the entire folder and you can also copy it but for this
2:29
purpose I'm gonna move it so it's not it's gonna be removed from where it is
2:33
right now and move to the SD card but if you wish you can also select copy and
2:38
then one copy of it will stay on well where it is right now and the other one
2:43
will be moved to wherever you want want it to be moved so you'll basically have
2:49
two different photos, I mean two same photos in two different locations so I'm
2:54
just gonna select move like so and then you get a pop-up and now make sure if
3:00
you're trying to move it out of the phone to external storage like the SD
3:04
card that you change to it so you can see that right now it's phone storage tap on the drop-down menu and select SD card and you will have well for me is
3:13
only three folders you might have more but you can move it right here you can
3:17
also add a folder by tapping right here so add a new folder you can name it
3:23
whatever you want so for instance I could name it DCIM hopefully it will
3:29
allow me to create it okay there it is and then you can go into it and tap on
3:33
the OK that you want to move it right over here and you can see that right now
3:38
we're in still the SD card and that folder I have created the DCIM is
3:42
here and camera folder and then the image that I have captured is still here
3:48
but because I moved it it will not be found anymore in the phone storage so if
3:54
I go to the phone and back to the DCIM as you can see it's empty here that's
3:59
due to the moving process but you can basically do that with any other file it
4:05
doesn't need to be photos so keep that in mind and yeah if you found this very
4:09
helpful don't forget to Like subscribe and thanks for watching
