Welcome, in front of me is a Nokia 6.1 and today I will show you how to add a fingerprint

So start off by opening up the settings app, open up the settings and then go into the

security and location and you will see right here fingerprint so you can just tap on it

and then set up screen lock and choose which one you like apart from the fingerprint so

you have a choice between pattern, PIN or password and each one is a little bit different

Pattern is just a little shape that you draw by connecting dots, PIN is just a four digit

number and password is basically any kind of password that you like

I'm going to choose pattern for this example and then I'm going to just draw the pattern

and then do the same thing once more. Same logic goes for every other choice that you have picked and then show notifications

or overlay notifications on the lock screen and you can choose if you want them to be

shown, hidden or completely invisible. And then you need to actually confirm the pattern to proceed to add a fingerprint and

then tap on add a fingerprint, continue and start and what you want to do is start scanning

your finger on the back of the device right, as you can see right here you have the fingerprint

area so you just want to press your finger like so and if I flip it over you will see

that it already went a little bit so you continue that. Okay and then you can rename this fingerprint so you know which one it is, assuming you
