Welcome and follow me say AppoA53 and today I will show you how to transfer files from
0:12
the phone to an SD card and vice versa. And to get started we'll need to open up the files app which is located in the Google folder
0:19
by default. And from here make sure that you're on the browser tab right over here and then scroll
0:27
down where you should see both of your storages, internal and SD
0:32
And I'm going to go over only one of them which is the internal because SD will have
0:36
basically the same folders there. So once you're in it you will have the key folder I would say like the DCIM, downloads
0:46
and pictures but in this case pictures doesn't really apply because it doesn't save screenshots
0:53
to it. So primarily we have the downloads and the DCIM and DCIM contains pictures, videos and
1:00
screenshots captured with the device while the downloads folder will contain anything
1:04
that you have downloaded on this device. And once you find your files which for me is going to be the photos
1:14
Once you find them you want to select it by simply holding it. So you hold one file and as you can see it selects it and then all of them have this
1:21
empty circle so you can tap on the file itself to add more to it
1:26
Now this is one way you can select it, you could also go to three dots and choose to select all or also go back and simply select the entire camera folder
1:35
Now whichever way you do it, it's completely up to you. Choose the option that suits you the best
1:41
If you don't want all of them then obviously just select individual files by tapping on them
1:46
And if you want all of them probably folder would be better
1:50
But once you have it selected whichever way you did it, tap on the three dots and go to
1:56
either move to or copy to. Whichever one you choose will change kind of what will happen
2:02
So if you go with move it will completely remove the selected files from where they
2:06
are right now and move them to a new location while copy will just create additional set
2:10
of them and keep the old ones where they are right now while the new ones will go to location
2:16
of your choice. I will choose move for this one. Once you select one of the options it will bring up the window and you can select if
2:23
you want to move it to your internal storage so in a different directory of the internal
2:28
storage or simply to move it to a completely different storage like SD card
2:33
Which that's what I'm going to choose. And once you select one of them you can scroll down or choose a folder that you want to move
2:39
it to. Create your own folder if you wanted to by tapping at the top add new folder or simply
2:46
dropping it right here. And I'm going to allow everything right here so it starts moving them and as you can see
2:55
it's moving and there we go. It's gone. And now if I go to the SD card at the bottom I should see my pictures and there they are
3:06
And this is how you would copy or move any kind of files from one storage location to another
