So in today's tutorial I'd like to show you two different ways to block a number and let's start with your contact list

So let's open it and then find the contact you'd like to block and tap on it

Then we have to tap on the three dots icon in the right upper corner and simply tap on block numbers

Of course your device will ask you if you really want to do it because you will no longer receive any incoming calls or text messages from it

So simply confirm it with tapping on block and as you can see we've got this characteristic icon

So from now on this number is blocked. Of course you can unblock it the same way, three dots icon and tap on unlock numbers but let me leave it blocked

Let's go back and let me show you another way, more manual way to block a number because you will have to enter it

So we have to enter the settings, it does not really matter whether it will be on the contacts recent or the favorites

Just tap on the three dots icon in the right upper corner and tap on the settings

Now let's tap on blocked numbers and here we've got our blacklist

As you can see this is the number we just blocked from our contacts so the previous way also works

And as I said this way is more manual because we have to tap on enter number and as you can see we can enter it

Of course you can tap on this profile picture kind of or the contacts and it will be transferred to your contact list

And you can enter it manually or you can paste it if you've got it copied and simply tap on block

And as you can see it will also immediately appear on the blacklist

What is more we've got this unknown option so we can turn it on and off just by tapping on the switcher

And basically your device will be allowed to block the calls from all unidentified callers

It's up to you if you want to use it or not. And if you want to unblock the number simply tap on this X button right next to it and tap on unblock
