Welcome and follow me as a ledger Nano S and today I'll show you how to install
0:12
the Bitcoin wallet onto the ledger itself. So number one we're gonna need to
0:19
have application that can be downloaded on basically any kind of platform
0:24
Windows or Mac Linux if you're using computer it doesn't really matter and on
0:31
the phone side you can use either iOS or Android obviously now I'm using Android
0:35
for this. That's kind of why I have this plugged in here just so I can connect it
0:40
to the ledger itself. So anyway obviously if you haven't done done so you need to
0:46
go into the Play Store download ledger live and from there once you open it up
0:52
obviously I assume you already went through the initial setup of the wallet
0:56
itself so from here you need to only go to manage select your ledger. In normal
1:06
circumstances it would on the ledger show up to press both buttons to
1:10
continue so you'd have to press those but for me it didn't do it because I
1:14
kind of already did it. So anyway from here find the Bitcoin obviously it's
1:20
gonna be right at the top here it should it looks like it sorts all the
1:24
coins based on popularity of them so Bitcoin is at the top. Click on install
1:30
now I will warn you we can only install a limited amount of wallets on here as
1:37
you can see Bitcoin will take up 40 kilobytes and your total storage right
1:42
here is 144 kilobytes and some of those do take a little bit more space than
1:50
other ones as you can see we have Bitcoin Cash which takes only two, Litcoin two, Polkadot takes 46, Cordana 88 so as you can see sizes kind of vary
2:05
depending on which one you want. And additionally once you install the wallet
2:12
on the device it automatically asks you if you want to also create an account
2:16
for it because by default if you just install the wallet it does not actually
2:21
have the account so it can store Bitcoin but it doesn't have anywhere to store it
2:27
to if that makes sense so you just kind of go to the create account and you
2:34
assign a account address to it which then basically becomes an actual wallet
2:41
but I'm not gonna go over this right now so I'm just gonna close this off so
2:46
anyway that is how you install Bitcoin wallet on the ledger and if you found
