So today I'd like to show you two different ways which will allow you to block either the contact or the number itself

And let me start maybe with blocking the contact. So let's enter the dialer

Of course you can use only the phone contact list however or app but I highly recommend to use the phone because here I can or you can use two different ways of blocking

So after that simply find the contact you'd like to block and tap on it, then tap on the three dots icon in the right upper corner and tap on block numbers

Your device will ask you if you really want to do it because basically you will no longer receive any incoming calls or text messages from this number so simply tap on block to confirm

And as you can see we've got this characteristic icon which means that the number has been blocked successfully

Of course we can unblock it the same way. Right here the three dots icon and unblock numbers and tap on unblock

However let me leave it blocked because we will check if it will actually appear on the blacklist because entering the blacklist is the, I would say, the second way of blocking the number

So we have to tap on the three dots icon in the right upper corner and it does not really matter whether you will be on the contacts list or the favorites, it works the same

So the three dots icon and tap on the settings. Right here we have to find blocked numbers in this general section and as you can see this is our blacklist

That's the number we blocked from our contacts which simply means that the previous way also works

And basically the second scenario, the second way of blocking numbers is more manual because you have to tap on any number and you can enter it manually

You can also paste it if you've got it copied and then tap on block

And as you can see the number will also immediately appear on the blacklist

You can tap on this switcher to turn on the unknown option which means that your device will be allowed to block all incoming calls from unidentified callers so it's up to you whether this option is useful for you or not, you can turn it off the same way

And if you want you can also unblock the numbers just tap on this X button right next to them
