Here I've got HomeTom HD16 and let me show you how to activate and use recovery mode
0:09
on the following device. So at first you have to tap on power key and hold it for a while and then click on power off
0:18
When your device is shut down just tap on power key and volume down key and hold them
0:22
all together until you are redirected to boot mode. And here it is
0:27
You are in boot mode in which you can navigate by using volume up and down key and for selection
0:31
use volume down key. So just pick recovery mode which is the first tab and tap on volume down key to select
0:41
And now just tap on power key and hit volume up key once and now as you can see you are
0:46
in Android recovery mode in which you can navigate by using volume up and down keys
0:51
and for selection use power key. So Android recovery allows you to reboot system now, reboot to bootloader, apply update from
0:58
ADB, apply update from SD card, wipe data, wipe cache partition, backup user data, restore
1:05
user data, root integrity check, mount system, view recovery logs and also power off the device
1:12
So this is what you can do here. Just tap on volume up and down keys to select some particular option and then tap on power
1:19
key to select. To switch off Android recovery mode you can pick either reboot system now or you can power
1:26
off your device and then turn it on one more time. But I will reboot system now
1:31
Let me tap on power key to select and within a couple of seconds we will be back in the
1:34
normal mode. And this is it. As you can see now we are back in the normal mode so you can use your device as usually
