Infilemma is a Redmi note 11 and today I will show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this phone
0:15
So to start off I'm going to begin with a dark mode which you can find in the settings under display and sometimes we also have a quick toggle in our notifications which I do have right here
0:26
Dark mode. Once enabled as you can see it just changed a very limited
0:29
amount at least right here but what it does is changes everything to dark mode in
0:35
terms of default apps so as you can see dialer is now in dark mode messages in dark
0:39
mode and if I would forward to turn it off as you can see it will switch to light mode
0:44
now additionally if we navigate into the settings for the dark mode all under
0:51
display you'll have this pop-up right here and you also have underneath a
0:57
scheduled so when you enable this and the device will automatically switch between light and dark mode based on the time of day, which is the default
1:05
one, or you can do a custom one, kind of like a scheduled one, so you can define what times it
1:10
will switch. So that's the first one. Now the second one is the refresh rate, which is under
1:18
the display section, which we should already be in, and you can find refresh rate. Now, by default
1:24
the phone has it set to 60. That is disgusting, so let's change it to 90. This will improve
1:29
the smoothness of the display a little bit. It's obviously not going to be as good as 120 or 44
1:36
but still it is an improvement over a 60. Now your battery will suffer a little bit from this
1:42
but truth be told, I think it's a trade-off that is worth taking
1:46
because it will look a little bit nicer, the overall smoothness of the display
1:53
which I would consider worth trading for a little bit of a battery
1:57
Anyway next thing I kind of rapidly going through this is going to be the game Turbo which obviously this is going to be strictly for people that play games on their phone and what this does is number one allocates all the uh games in a single location so before i
2:17
go into it let's first open it up so we can i believe there is an application for this let me
2:23
just quickly check nope not like that Nope, I don't see it anywhere
2:37
So anyway, let's open up settings, go to special features, and right here we'll find Game Turbo
2:46
And I don't have any games installed, unfortunately, so there is not really a way for me to show this or showcase this
2:53
But what this will do is show you games that you have
2:57
You can also select obviously add game. So let's just select PUBG Mobile
3:01
There we go. Even though it's not downloaded, it's just an installation. I can add it
3:05
and as you can see, it shows up right here. And launching games through this option right here
3:12
will boost the performance of them by giving them as much as resources as the device can
3:18
It will cut off everything else that is not essential for this to run
3:23
All the apps that are running in the background will be closed off and it will just prioritize running
3:28
whatever you have turned on right here. So it will try to squeeze as much performance
3:32
from your phone by basically cutting everything else that isn't being used at this moment for the game
3:39
And additionally, you have some options in here, I believe, for, let's see, so game Turbo
3:44
obviously let's enable this. We have in-game shortcuts, which gives you an overlay
3:48
We have a couple options in here. Now, one thing that I do want to see, some of those options, or things like this, like
3:57
the game launchers, do have options for things like do not at Distur Mode when you're playing games
4:03
So that is also another thing that is quite nice. have. But obviously you can go through the settings right here, customize into your liking
4:10
switch up things that you would want to have while playing games Now let move on to the next option which is going to be the floating windows Now this is more limited to something that as an example you can find on Huawei or Samsung This is going to be strictly accessible I believe
4:30
Let me quickly check maybe. I think I actually might. Nope, come on
4:43
Okay, so I have limited amount of apps that can open. open up in floating windows
4:49
How do I close it? Oh, like this. So you can open it up from recent, as you can see
4:55
But there is also another option as when you get a notification
5:00
you can interact with the notification and open up whatever the notification was
5:05
in this kind of pop-up window. I can give you a quick glance on how this will look like
5:11
by going again into special features. right here and navigating into floating windows and I can simply tap on this and it gives me a guide on how to use it so there is our
5:23
notification when you get some kind of message or something like that you can then pull it down opens up in this kind of pop-up window but you can interact with it now
5:32
we have a couple additional things we can move it around we can close it and we can minimize it so those are all the things that we can virtually do with it and what this
5:41
overly allows you to do as you can be using some kind of different app in the background
5:46
So let me just showcase this. There is our browser. There we go
5:53
And I can open up messages on top of it. So you can see I can use my messages while being in the actual browser
6:05
So there we go. You can tap on it again. Let's see if I can make it smaller
6:13
Ah, there we go. That's how we'll make it smaller. So you can get rid of it by just dragging it in a corner
6:19
You can continue to use your main app that you are using
6:23
And when something happens, like a message, you can tap on this interact with this type in whatever you want in here and then again just back in the corner and proceed with what you were doing primarily here So there we go
6:38
Anyway, let's move on to the next and also last option, which is the gesture navigation
6:44
So this will remove the buttons from the bottom. Additionally, it will switch, not switch, but
6:49
shift the icons a little bit further down, giving a little bit more real state of your screen
6:54
and making it look a little bit cleaner. Apart from just the aesthetics
6:58
it provides a different way of navigating to your device, which I personally find more appealing
7:02
over the buttons that were used on the phones for virtually ever since smartphones were a thing
7:10
So, to get this enabled, let's navigate it into our settings. We're now going to go into additional settings
7:17
and in here when you scroll down all the way, you have the blue text, and we have full-screen display
7:22
when you open that up and it gives you system navigation options right here so have buttons
7:27
and we can select gestures we can go to a learning process right here so let's select learn
7:32
and we have swipe up to go home I have swipe up and hold to go to recent and then swipe from
7:43
either side to go back as you can see it shows you this kind of like thing to signify
7:48
that you will go back if you want to cancel it you can actually move your finger back
7:52
because sometimes you just want to swipe on the screen in some way. So it might accept this as a gesture
7:59
even though you may not have wanted it because your finger was a little bit too close to the edge
8:03
So you can just kind of undo it. But for everything else, obviously, it's a quick swipe on the side
8:09
And honestly, the swipe from side is the most amazing thing of the gestures
8:14
at least in my opinion. So there we go. We're now done, and we know how to use our gestures
8:20
So here we go. Now, this being said, this would conclude all the tweaks and tricks that I wanted to share with you
8:26
and if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
